Rick Henvey, Chief Executive Officer, Parkview Health

Rick Henvey portrait

Rick Henvey joined Parkview Health in 2006 and became CEO in January 2023. Henvey oversees the not-for-profit healthcare system that employs more than 15,000 co-workers and serves as the largest employer in northeast Indiana. 

Henvey is heavily engaged in the community and serves on several boards of directors throughout the region, including the Regional Chamber of Northeast Indiana, Trine University and the Northeast Indiana Boys and Girls Club. He also serves on the boards of the Indiana Chamber and the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership.

Henvey has a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in management from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Okla.


Ray Dusman, MD, President, Physician and Clinical Enterprise, Parkview Health

Ray Dusman PortraitRay Dusman, MD, joined Parkview Health as a member of Fort Wayne Cardiology in 1989. Fort Wayne Cardiology became Parkview Physicians Group – Cardiology in 2010. He was named executive vice president and chief physician executive of Parkview Health in 2009. He provides executive oversight for health system safety and quality, healthcare delivery and physician leadership of service line and institute models. Dr. Dusman serves as vice-chairman of the Parkview Health Board of Directors, chairman of the board's safety and quality committee and is a member of the board governance, finance and strategic planning committees. He serves as a member of the Parkview Physicians Group Board of Managers.

Dr. Dusman has a master's degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Ind. He earned a medical degree at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Newark, New Jersey. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society. Dr. Dusman serves as president for the Indiana chapter of the American College of Cardiology. He is a clinical associate professor of medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Fort Wayne, Ind. He also serves on the boards for the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne, Erin's House for Grieving Children and the University of Saint Francis.


Mitchell B. Stucky, MD, President, Parkview Physicians Group

Mitchell Stuckey PortraitMitchell Stucky, MD, joined Parkview Health in 2009, was named president of Parkview Physicians Group (PPG) in 2011 and serves on the Parkview Health Board of Directors. Prior to his role with PPG, he was president and managing partner of FirstCare Family Physicians.

He earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind., and a medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, Ind. Stucky is certified by the American Board of Family Physicians.


Jerry Grannan, Chief Operating Officer, Parkview Physicians Group

Jerry Grannan portratiJerry joined Parkview Health in 2016 as senior vice president, Primary Care Service Line, and transitioned into the role of chief operating officer, Parkview Physicians Group, in February 2017, where he oversees the operations of the 700+ provider group. Prior to joining Parkview, he was the vice president for physician integration & business development at Allegiance Health.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind., and a master's degree in health administration from Indiana University, Indianapolis. Ind.


Dena Jacquay, Chief Administrative Officer, Parkview Health

Dena Jacquay portraitDena Jacquay is Parkview Health’s Chief Administrative Officer. Since joining the organization in 2000, she has served in several leadership roles, supporting and driving the health system’s culture, both within Parkview and within the communities Parkview serves.

Dena oversees Parkview’s administrative and support services, including public safety, marketing/communications, business development/strategic planning, human resources, construction, and the support division. Dena also leads Parkview’s community health and outreach efforts, equity and inclusion, and patient experience, which includes chaplaincy, volunteers, patient advocates and advanced care planning. 

Dena has a bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, and a master's degree in business administration from Western Governor's University


Jeanné Wickens, Chief Financial Officer, Parkview Health

jeanne wickens portraitJeanné Wickens joined Parkview Health as chief financial officer in May 2016. She is responsible for financial decision support, fiscal services, health plan services, managed care contracting, strategic financial planning and budget, reimbursement, revenue cycle, tax and treasury services. Jeanné has 29 years of progressive healthcare strategic and financial leadership experience.

Prior to joining Parkview, she served as chief financial and strategy officer for Allegiance Health Services, a community owned and locally-governed integrated health system in Jackson, Mich. She also served as controller/director of finance with Battle Creek Health System in Battle Creek, Mich., and as a staff accountant and senior accountant with Ernst & Young in Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids, Mich.

Jeanné has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Western Michigan University and a Master of Science in Management degree from Purdue University.


Ron Double, Chief Information Officer, Parkview Health

Ron Double portraitRon Double was named chief information officer for Parkview Health in May 2008. He oversees all information technology-related activities throughout Parkview Health. Double's responsibilities include overall management of the staff and technology in support of all application software, the voice and data network, mainframe computing environment, client/server computing environment, end-user devices, data center operations and IS service center/help desk. Double has worked for Parkview since 1989 in various capacities, including technology services director, manager of IS client services, operations supervisor, information center analyst and analyst – patient financial systems.

Ron earned a bachelor's degree from Purdue University, Fort Wayne, Ind., and a master's degree from Indiana Unversity, Fort Wayne, Ind.


David Storey, Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, Parkview Health

David StoreyDavid Storey began serving as chief legal and compliance officer in 2018. He previously served in the role of senior vice president and general counsel for Parkview Health since 2013. He joined Parkview in 2010 as an attorney with the Parkview Corporate Counsel Office, concentrating his practice in health care law, business transactions and health care compliance.

He received a law degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Bloomington, Ind. He also studied accounting at Indiana University-Purdue University, Fort Wayne, Ind., and passed the Indiana CPA examination.


Mark Pierce, MD, Chief Business Intelligence and Analytics Officer, Parkview Health

Mark Pierce portraitMark Pierce, MD, was named chief medical informatics officer in 2011 and was appointed chief business intelligence and analytics officer in 2022. He joined Parkview Health in 2000. Throughout his nearly 20 years of clinical and 10 years of IT experience, Pierce has served in numerous leadership roles, including the integration of information technology, cognitive design and knowledge management to help patients traverse the "knowing-doing" gap to achieve healthy outcomes.

Pierce has a bachelor's degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind., and earned his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, Ind.


Michael Mirro, MD, Chief Academic & Research Officer, Parkview Health

Michael Mirro portraitMichael Mirro, MD, began serving as chief academic and research officer at Parkview Health in 2014. Prior to this role, Dr. Mirro served as medical director of the Parkview Research Center. Dr. Mirro joined Parkview Health when Fort Wayne Cardiology joined Parkview Physicians Group in 2010.

He earned a bachelor's degree from Loyola University, Chicago, and a medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. In 2004, he was presented with an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Indiana University.


Greg Johnson, DO, MMM, Chief Clinical Integration & Employer Solutions Officer, Parkview Health

Greg Johnson portrait

Greg Johnson, DO, MMM, joined Parkview Health in 2008 and transitioned to chief clinical integration officer in 2015. In 2022, he was named chief clinical integration and Employer Solutions officer. In his role, he works alongside the clinical integration team to further develop leadership skills to better serve patients and the health system, and he also leads the Employer Solutions team, growing Parkview’s partnerships with area employers.

He has also served as chief medical officer for Parkview Regional Medical Center and Affiliates and practiced as a nephrologist with Parkview Physicians Group. Johnson has a bachelor's degree from Rockford College in Illinois, and a master's degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania.


Jeffrey Boord, MD, Chief Quality & Safety Officer, Parkview Health

Jeffrey Boord, MD

Jeffrey Boord, MD, MPH joined Parkview Health in 2015 as the chief quality and safety officer. In his role, he oversees Quality Management, Safety and Infection Prevention, and collaborates with clinical and operational leaders across the health system on healthcare quality, accreditation, patient and workforce safety, and process improvement.

An expert in patient safety and workforce safety in healthcare, he has served on the Indiana Hospital Association’s Council on Quality and Patient Safety. Dr. Boord is also a practicing adult endocrinologist with Parkview Physicians Group.

He earned his bachelor's degree from Miami University, his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, and his Master of Public Health degree from Vanderbilt University.


Rich Church, Chief Growth & Strategy Officer, Parkview Health

Rich Church

Richard Church joined Parkview Health as Chief Growth & Strategy Officer in April 2022. He is responsible for developing and optimizing Parkview’s growth and strategic priorities.

Prior to joining Parkview, he was a practicing attorney for 22 years and the co-leader of K&L Gates, LLP’s global healthcare law and FDA practice. In that role, he worked closely with Parkview Health, along with other leading health systems and academic medical centers, as well as healthcare disruptors and startups, in implementing strategic initiatives and accelerating organizational performance. Rich also previously taught medical ethics and religion at Wingate University.

Rich holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Calvin College, a J.D. from Duke University School of Law, and a Master of Arts and a PhD from Duke University in religion, with a specialization in theological ethics.


Jolynn Suko, Senior Vice President, Chief Innovation Officer, Parkview Health

Jolynn SukoJolynn Suko joined Parkview Health in 2015 as the senior vice president of Neurosciences. In that role, she worked to recruit and develop providers to northeast Indiana and grow key programs, including the stroke program, which obtained Comprehensive Stroke Certification from the DNV in 2018. 

In January 2019, she was promoted to senior vice president and chief innovation officer, where she works to leverage Virtual Health, Informatics, Research and analytics to promote innovation across the health system and elevate Parkview’s role as an innovation leader in the region. 

Prior to joining Parkview, Jolynn spent 13 years at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, where she held leadership roles in finance, quality, process improvement and operations. She has extensive experience in LEAN manufacturing, has served as an examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and served on the Neurology Endorsement Maintenance committee for the National Quality Forum.

She obtained a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Whitman College, Walla Walla, Washington.


Thomas Bond, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Parkview Physicians Group

Thomas Bond portraitThomas Bond, MD, joined Parkview Health in 1998 as a primary care physician in New Haven, Ind. Bond earned a medical degree from Ross University of Medicine, New York, N.Y., and completed his residency at Ball Memorial Family Practice Program at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Ind. He is board certified in family medicine.

 

 


Joshua Kline, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Parkview Physicians Group

Joshua Kline portraitJoshua Kline, MD, began serving as chief medical officer for Parkview Physicians Group in 2016. Dr. Kline has served as a primary care physician with Parkview since 2007. In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Kline serves as the Primary Care Service Line Physician Leader for Parkview Physicians Group as well as multiple committees within PPG and Parkview Health. Dr. Kline is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, Indiana State Medical Association and Indiana Academy of Family Physicians. 

He earned a medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Ind. His undergraduate education was completed at Manchester College in North Manchester, Ind. Between college and medical school, he spent a year studying comparative health systems and resource allocation ethics at the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada as a Fulbright Scholar. He completed his family medicine residency at the Memorial Hospital Family Residency Program in South Bend, Ind., and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.


Jason Row, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Parkview Physicians Group

Jason Row portraitJason Row, MD is a board-certified family physician, who has been in practice since 2001. A summa cum laude graduate of John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio, he earned a medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He joined Parkview in 2011 and became chief medical officer with Parkview Physicians Group in January 2017. He also serves as the physician leader for the Inpatient Service Line and for Care Design and Optimization at Parkview.

Dr. Row is on the board of directors for the Fort Wayne Civic Theatre and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society.  He is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Indiana State Medical Association, Fort Wayne Medical Society, Catholic Medical Association and the American Association for Physician Leadership.


John Bowen, President, Parkview Regional Medical Center & Affiliates

John Bowen Portrait John Bowen was named president of Parkview Regional Medical Center and Affiliates in September 2020. He previously served as chief operating officer for Parkview Regional Medical Center and Affiliates. He joined Parkview Health in 2017 as chief operating officer at Parkview Hospital Randallia. As president, John is responsible for leading the operations and care provided at PRMC and its affiliate hospitals.

Prior to joining Parkview, John served at Baptist Health, a nine-hospital health system in Little Rock, Ark., in several capacities, including assistant vice-president and administrator, and, most recently, assistant vice-president of patient services. He currently serves as a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and was named the C.E. Melville Young Administrator of the Year by the Arkansas Hospital Association and Young Alumni of the Year by Oklahoma Baptist University.

John received a master's degree in health services administration from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.


Juli Johnson, Chief Nursing Executive, Parkview Health

Juli Johnson portraitJuli Johnson, MSN, RN, has served as chief nursing executive since March 2021. Previously she was president of Parkview Huntington Hospital since November 2014. A Huntington native, she has spent nearly all of her 21-year healthcare career at the hospital in various clinical and leadership roles, having started as a registered nurse in the hospital's Emergency Department in 1995. Immediately prior to assuming the presidency, she served as vice president of patient care services and interim president.

Strongly rooted in the community, Johnson serves on a number of boards and committees, including the boards of directors for Parkview Boys and Girls Club of Huntington County, United Way of Huntington County, the Huntington County Optimist Club, and Bippus State Bank. She is also a member of the Huntington University President's Advisory Council on Excellence.

Johnson received her Master of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind. She holds membership in the American College of Healthcare Executives.


Erin LaCross, Senior Vice President, Nursing Professional Development, Parkview Health

Erin LaCross portrait Erin LaCross, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, CENP joined Parkview Health in 2003 and currently serves as senior vice president for nursing professional development for the health system. Erin has held numerous roles in her 18 years at Parkview including Unit Clerk, Student Nurse, Registered Nurse, Nursing Services Manager, Vice President of Nursing Services at Parkview Hospital Randallia, and Chief Nursing Officer for Parkview Regional Medical Center and Affiliates.

Erin obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Indianapolis (2018); her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Saint Francis (2009); and her Associate of Science in Nursing from Purdue University (2005). She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Trine University (2001). She is a member of the American Association of Nursing Professional Development; the American College of Healthcare Executives; the American Nurses Association; the American Organization for Nursing Leadership; the Association for Leadership Science in Nursing; the Indiana Organization for Nursing Leadership; and the Northeast Indiana Organization for Nursing Leadership (President-Elect). She was inducted into the Xi Nu Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing in 2009. Erin serves on the board of directors for the American Red Cross of Northeast Indiana and Saint Anne Communities.


Tasha Eicher, President, Parkview DeKalb Hospital

Tasha Eicher portraitTasha Eicher joined Parkview Health in 2019, when DeKalb Health joined the system. She brings over 22 years of healthcare experience to her role as president of Parkview DeKalb Hospital. She previously worked for Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan, Ohio, Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne, St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, and Lutheran Medical Group in Fort Wayne. In 2015, Eicher joined DeKalb Health as vice president of physician services, strategy and development, and she was selected as CEO in March 2018. It was during the hospital’s affiliation with Parkview Health in October of 2019 that Eicher assumed the position of president and continues to lead Parkview DeKalb Hospital today.

Eicher has an associate degree in business from Northwest State Community College in Ohio and an associate degree in health information management from Hutchinson Community College in Kansas. She is also a graduate of Western Governors University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in business administration.


Doug Selig, President, Parkview Huntington Hospital

Doug Selig portraitDoug Selig has served as president of Parkview Huntington Hospital since April 2021. Selig joined Parkview in 2007 as manager of the neurology, trauma and orthopedics unit at Parkview Hospital, now Parkview Hospital Randallia. He transitioned to Parkview Huntington Hospital in 2008 to serve as manager of the emergency department, medication infusion unit and shift supervision before being appointed vice president of patient care in 2014.

Selig is a lifelong resident of Huntington County, aside from his four years serving in the U.S. Air Force. He and his wife, Hallie, have been married nearly 22 years. Selig currently serves on the board of the United Way of Huntington County. He is also a graduate of the Huntington County Leadership Academy and is an active member of The Awakening Church in Huntington.

Selig holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing Leadership and Management and a Master of Business Administration degree in Healthcare Administration. He is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.


Jordi Disler, President, Parkview LaGrange Hospital

Jordi Disler portraitJordi Disler began serving as president of Parkview LaGrange Hospital in 2016. Prior to serving as president, Disler served as the vice president of patient care services at LaGrange for nearly four years. She joined Parkview in 2001, serving in numerous leadership positions throughout her tenure.

Disler earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Marian College in Indianapolis, later earning a master's degree in nursing administration/executive nurse from Indiana University-Purdue University, Fort Wayne, Ind.
 


Gary Adkins, President, Parkview Noble Hospital

Gary Adkins portraitGary Adkins joined Parkview Health as president of Parkview Noble Hospital in 2014. Adkins previously served as CEO of Paulding County Hospital for more than 13 years. Adkins has more than 26 years of healthcare experience, serving in numerous senior administrative positions for more than 18 years, including CEO and CFO at Paulding County Hospital.

Adkins received a bachelor's degree from Defiance College, Defiance, Ohio, and a master's degree from Regis University, Denver, Col.
 


Scott Gabriel, President, Parkview Whitley Hospital & Parkview Warsaw   

Scott Gabriel portraitScott Gabriel joined Parkview Health in 2010 as president of Parkview Whitley Hospital. Gabriel began serving as president of Parkview Warsaw when the facility was announced in 2014. Prior to joining Parkview, Gabriel served as vice president of operations for Dukes Memorial Hospital.

He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Akron in Ohio and a master's degree in both science and business administration from the University of Akron and Ashland University respectively, both in Ohio.
 


Debra Potempa, President, Parkview Wabash Hospital

Deb Potempa portraitDebra Potempa, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, was named president of Parkview Wabash Hospital in 2022. Prior to joining Parkview, she was most recently system chief nursing officer and vice president of hospital operations at Mercyhealth. Her experience also includes leadership roles at Provena Health System and The University of Chicago Hospitals.

Potempa holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing from St. Xavier University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from DePaul University, both in Chicago. She is a board-certified nurse executive – advanced, and a graduate of The Kellogg School’s Executive Education Program for Nurse Leaders. She is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Organization of Nurse Leaders.


Roy Robertson, MD, FACC, FSCAI, President, Parkview Heart Institute

Roy Robertson Roy Robertson, MD, began serving as the president of the Parkview Heart Institute in January 2017. Prior to this role, Dr. Robertson served on the Cardiology Quality Committee and was a member of the Parkview Physicians Group Board of Managers. 

Dr. Robertson earned a medical degree with distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed his residency at Indiana University School of Medicine with the designation of outstanding internal medicine resident. Dr. Robertson’s fellowship in cardiology was completed at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, and he is board certified in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease. He is actively involved in several clinical trials and serves as a clinical associate professor of medicine for the Indiana University School of Medicine.


Neil Sharma, MD, President, Parkview Cancer Institute

Neil SharmaNeil Sharma, MD, earned a medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. He completed his residency and then fellowship training in internal medicine - gastroenterology at University of South Florida and Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. He also completed fellowship training in interventional endoscopy and surgical endoscopy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina. 

Dr. Sharma is board certified in internal medicine - gastroenterology, and specializes in interventional endoscopic oncology and surgical endoscopy. Using state-of-the-art technology at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Dr. Sharma is able to diagnose, stage and treat cancers. He is involved in education programs, speaking endeavors and numerous trials and publications for treatment of gastrointestinal cancers and endoscopy.  

Since 2014, Dr. Sharma has been the medical director of the GI oncology program and actively involved in the development of a variety of cancer care programs. He leads a nationally accredited training fellowship in interventional and surgical endoscopy and endoscopic oncology, which he established at Parkview Health in 2016. That same year, he assumed the role of President of the Parkview Cancer Institute.


Chuck Clark, President, Parkview Behavioral Health Institute

Chuck ClarkChuck Clark joined Parkview Health in 2008 and was appointed president of Parkview Behavioral Health in 2018. Prior to that role, he served as senior vice president and service line administrator of Behavioral Health Services since 2010. He was also the senior vice president of operations at Parkview North Hospital from February 2009 to October 2010. Prior to joining Parkview, Clark was the vice president of behavioral health services at Howard Regional Health System in Kokomo, Ind. While at Howard Regional, he served on the Indiana DMHA Advisory Council and the Governor's Commission on Mental Health, and in 2007 was named Professional of the Year by the National Alliance of Mental Illness.

Clark has a master's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.
 


Michael GeRue, Chief Operating Officer, Parkview Heart Institute

Mike GeRue portraitMichael GeRue joined Parkview Health in 1989. In 2014, he began his role as chief operating officer of the Parkview Heart Institute & SVP of the Cardiovascular Service Line for Parkview Health. Prior to this, GeRue also served as SVP and service line administrator of Neurosciences & held various Nursing leadership roles. He has dedicated his tenure at Parkview to ensuring the delivery of high-quality, high-value patient care. In his role at the Parkview Heart Institute, GeRue works in partnership with physicians and leaders to further the growth, planning and strategic direction of an ever-evolving and innovative healthcare model.

He earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, and a master’s degree in nursing administration from the University of Saint Francis, Fort Wayne, Indiana.


Megan Smith, Chief Operating Officer, Parkview Cancer Institute; Senior Vice President, Cancer Service Line, Parkview Health

Megan Smith portrait

Megan Smith joined Parkview Physicians Group in December 2013 as a director of finance. She joined the Parkview Cancer Institute (PCI) in 2016 to serve in an operations capacity. In her current role, she oversees all clinical and non-clinical operations at PCI and leads the cancer service line for Parkview Health.

Prior to joining Parkview, Megan served at IU Health in Indianapolis. She has 14 years of experience in healthcare operations and finance.

Megan has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Marian University and a Master of Health Administration degree from Indiana University.


Julie Fleck, Chief Operating Officer, Parkview Ortho Hospital

Julie Fleck portraitJulie Fleck joined Parkview Health as SVP/COO of the Parkview Ortho Hospital in 2005. In this role, Fleck is responsible for daily operations, including employee management, financial review and leadership of the management team. Prior to this role, she served as a leading manager at VNA Home Health Care Agency in Naples, Fla., and director of nursing for Parkview North Hospital.

Fleck has a bachelor's degree from Concordia University.
 


Scott James, Senior Vice President, Surgical Services, Parkview Health

Scott James portrait

Scott James was named senior vice president for the Surgery Service Line in 2015. James joined Parkview in 2013 as the Vice President of Surgical Specialties Physician Practices. Prior to joining Parkview, Scott was the Executive Director for Eye Surgeons of Indiana located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

James received a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration from Indiana University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Indiana.

Stewart Graham joined Parkview Health in 2000 as director of finance. In his current role, he oversees fiscal services, including accounting, accounts payable, payroll and provider compensation, reimbursement, grant accounting, external audits and internal controls. He also leads strategic financial planning and benchmarking, partnering with operational leadership to ensure the system is aligned and integrated on key financial strategies.

Stewart has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ohio Northern University and a Masters in Health Services Administration from Xavier University.


Gary Breuer, Senior Vice President, Enterprise Revenue Cycle, Parkview Health

Gary BreuerGary Breuer joined Parkview Health in 2018 as the senior vice president of enterprise revenue cycle. Previously, Gary held a dual position as the National Leader of Revenue Integrity for Ascension Health and Vice President of Revenue Cycle at the 9 hospital AMITA Health subsidiary in suburban Chicago. He has 28 years of healthcare and revenue cycle operations experience.

Gary has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois and a MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.
 


David Jeans, Senior Vice President, Payor, Employer and Health Plan Strategies, Parkview Health

Gary BreuerDavid Jeans is a results-oriented leader who facilitates strategy development and execution through relationships, multi-disciplinary teams and leveraging data analytics to inform decision making. David has deep experience in provider contracting analytics, risk assessments, value-based payment design, data management, data science, informatics and predictive analytics. David also has extensive experience working for regional and national payors in a senior leadership capacity at Anthem and non-profit Capital District Physicians Health Plan. His experience on both the provider and payor side of the business with strong informatics/analytics background will be focused on leading Parkview's marketing transformation to a focus on value.


Marlon Wardlow, Senior Vice President, Equity and Inclusion, Parkview Health

Marlon WardlowMarlon Wardlow serves as Senior Vice President of Equity and Inclusion for Parkview Health in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Wardlow provides system-wide oversight and leadership with a focus on strategic development and implementation of equity and inclusion standards, programs, and/or systems in order to achieve desired business and clinical objectives and outcomes. He is responsible for executing inclusion strategies that advance the diversity management capability of Parkview Health, as the leading employer and health care provider, within the region.

Wardlow is very active in our local community as he sits on the Board of Directors for several local nonprofit organizations: Turnstone, Fort Wayne United, Boys and Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne, as well as Fort Wayne Urban League, currently serving as Board Chair. Marlon is a proud husband and father of three boys.

Wardlow possesses a Masters in Health Services Administration as well as a Bachelors of Science in Biopsychology and the Cognitive Sciences from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He holds the designation of Fellow within the American College of Healthcare Executives, as well as many other certifications.


Sarah GiaQuinta, MD, Senior Vice President, Community Health and Equity, Parkview Health

Marlon WardlowSarah GiaQuinta, MD, has spent the majority of her career working in healthcare quality improvement, population health and community health. With experience in both private and public health institutions, she has worked closely with physicians, nurses and community health organizations. She is passionate about the impact of social factors on pediatric and adult health outcomes and the critical role health systems play in promoting health equity.

Dr. GiaQuinta has a medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Ind. and a Master of Public Health degree through the Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health, also in Indianapolis.


Trent Miller, Senior Vice President, Emergency Services/Pre-hospital, Lab & Imaging, Parkview Health

Trent Miller

Trent Miller joined Parkview Health in 2016 and serves as senior vice president and service line leader of Emergency Department, Pre-Hospital Care and Inpatient Services, as well as the senior vice president of Lab & Imaging. He is responsible for strategy, planning and growth of emergency and inpatient services. Miller is also responsible for the Care Design and Optimization team, which is accountable for shaping the care variation strategies for Parkview Health. 

Miller previously served as the chief executive officer of South Bend Orthopaedic Associates in South Bend, Ind. He has 18 years of healthcare administration, finance and operations experience. 

Miller earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Indiana University, South Bend, Ind., and his MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Indiana.


Donna Van Vlerah, Senior Vice President, Support Services, Parkview Health

Donna Van VlerahDonna Van Vlerah was named senior vice president of support services in 2015, managing Supply Chain, Pharmacy, Real Estate, Environmental Services, Dietary/Nutritional Services, Facilities and the Mirro Conference Center within Parkview Health. Van Vlerah joined Parkview Health in 2010 from ITT, where she served as chief compliance and ethics officer in the Space Systems Division located in Fort Wayne, Ind.

Van Vlerah holds a Bachelor of Arts in education from Bowling Green State University in Library Science and a Master of Arts in Military Science from the Marine Corps University. Van Vlerah is also accredited by AMP and SCCE as a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) and is a practicing Six Sigma Black Belt.


Keith Crews, Senior Vice President, Primary Care, Parkview Physicians Group

Keith CrewsKeith Crews joined PPG in August 2017 as senior vice president and service line leader for primary care. Keith comes to us most recently from Reid Health in Richmond, Ind., where he served as vice president. In his role, he was the administrative leader for the Reid Health Physician Associates and Reid Health Specialty Services across their market in Eastern Indiana and Western Ohio. Prior to Reid, Keith was with the Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson, Mich. as executive director, medical practice management.

Keith earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Findlay, Findlay, Ohio, and his Bachelor of Science from the University of Toledo, Toledo, Ohio. In his new role, Keith will actively participate in the development and sustainment of goals and objectives for the primary care service line alongside Chief Medical Officer Joshua Kline, MD.


Molly Cain, Senior Vice President, Planning and Development, Parkview Health

Molly Cain

Molly Cain joined Parkview Health as vice president of operations for the Neuroscience Service Line in July 2018. After briefly functioning as interim, Molly was named senior vice president of the Neuroscience Service Line in early 2019. She currently serves as senior vice president of planning and development, leading Parkview’s overall strategy and business development, as well as construction, marketing/communications and portfolio management. She also leads a project management team to support and drive key projects in the health system.

Molly came to Parkview Health from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center, where she was the assistant vice president for medical operations. Prior to that, she held roles at Mayo Clinic, including Quality, Organizational Excellence and administrator of the Mayo Clinic Care Network. She started her career at the VA Northern Indiana Healthcare System.

Molly holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Manchester University, where she was first introduced to Parkview as an intern. She earned a master’s degree in public health from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from McMaster University, where she was a Fulbright scholar. She serves on the board of the Indiana Chapter of the ALS Association.


Marcy Rogers, Senior Vice President, Neuroscience Service Line, Parkview Health

Marcy Rogers

Marcy Rogers was named senior vice president of Parkview Health’s neuroscience service line in 2021. Prior to this role, she served as vice president of PPG surgical and GI practices, as well as Inverness operations. Marcy joined Parkview in 1999.

Her recent accomplishments include leading the health system to achieve SRC robotic accreditation in 2020, as well as being designated a Center of Excellence, and earning MBSAQIP Bariatric Surgery Accreditation in 2021. She also contributed to the successful launch of Parkview’s plastic retail service – Radiance Plastic Surgery, Aesthetics and Skincare – in 2021.

Marcy holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from Saint Francis University, and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. She serves on the board of the Sexual Assault Treatment Center and is also board chair of the Parkview YMCA, where she has served for six years.


Fen-Lei Chang, MD, PhD, Medical Director, Neuroscience Service Line

Fen-Lei Chang, MDFen-Lei Chang, MD, PhD, has served as the medical director for Parkview Neuroscience since Sept. 1, 2017. Dr. Chang has been the Medical Director of the Parkview Stanley Wissman Stroke Center since 2001, which was certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center in July 2018. The Stroke Center received the first Primary Stroke Center designation in the region in 2005 and has maintained re-certification since. Dr. Chang serves as the chair of the Parkview Credentialing Committee and is a member of the Parkview IRB and Parkview Care Partners Quality Sub-committee.

Dr. Chang earned PhD and MD degrees from the University of Illinois. He then completed his neurology residency at the Mayo Clinic. He took his first job with UC San Francisco as an assistant professor for four years prior to his move to Fort Wayne in 1998 to be closer to his parents. He worked for Fort Wayne Neurology from 1998 to 2017. He is a past-president of the Fort Wayne Medical Society.

Dr. Chang has served as the director, associate dean and professor of neurology of the Indiana University School of Medicine-Fort Wayne since 2007. He became chair of the executive committee at IU Fort Wayne in July 2018, when IPFW was realigned into IU Fort Wayne and Purdue Fort Wayne. Dr. Chang is passionate about patient care, teaching and research. His main research areas from benchtop through translational research into clinical applications include neuroprotection and neuro-restoration against stroke and neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.


Michael Grabowski, MD, FACS, Surgery Service Line Physician Executive

Michael Grabowski, MDMichael Grabowski, MD, earned a medical degree from Temple University in 1990 and completed his residency in General Surgery at Temple University in 1997. After residency, he completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Yale University. Dr. Grabowski is board certified in General Surgery and is a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Grabowski has served in several leadership roles with Parkview Health including Surgery Division Leader, President of Medical Staff, as well as, serving on the boards of Parkview Hospital, Parkview Physicians Group, Parkview Care Partners, and Parkview Foundation. Beyond his administrative role, Dr. Grabowski has an active clinical practice specializing in minimally invasive surgery.


Thomas Miller, MD, Women's and Children's Service Line Physician Executive

Thomas Miller, MDThomas Miller, MD, earned a bachelor degree at Rice University in Houston, TX, and went to the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Miller is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He is a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners, a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American Medical Association and the Indiana State Medical Association.

 


Thomas Gutwein, MD, Emergency Department and Pre-Hospital Service Line Physician Executive

Thomas Gutwein, MDThomas Gutwein, MD, earned a bachelor of science degree in biology from Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind. He earned a medical degree from Indiana University, Indianapolis, Ind., in 1990 and completed the Emergency Medicine Residency program at the Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis in 1993.

Dr. Gutwein is board certified in emergency medicine and has worked as an emergency medicine physician at Parkview Health since 1993. He has served as the emergency department medical director since 2000.

 


Alan W. McGee, MD, Orthopedic Service Line Physician Executive

Alan W. McGee, MDSpecializing in surgeries of the spine, Alan W. McGee, M.D., is a native of Fort Wayne and a surgeon with SpineONE, a division of Orthopaedics Northeast. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and went on to receive a medical degree there in 1982, graduating with honors.

Dr. McGee performed his internship with the Family Practice Residency of Fort Wayne and served his orthopaedic residency at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana. Dr. McGee completed his spine fellowships at the Kenton D. Leatherman Spine Center, Louisville, Kentucky, and the Dewar Spine Center at Toronto General Hospital, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Dr. McGee is board certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, where he retains an active membership. Other memberships afforded Dr. McGee are the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society, the Wright State African American Medical Scholarship Program, the Martin Luther King Jr. Club, the North American Spine Society, the African American Healthcare Alliance and the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association.


Ahsan Mahmood, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Parkview Behavioral Health Institute

Ahsan Mahmood, MDDr. Mahmood joined Parkview in September 2020 as the Chief Medical Officer of Parkview Behavioral Health Institute. Dr. Mahmood completed his medical degree at the Dow University of Health Sciences. He completed his psychiatry residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he also served as Chief Resident for the program. Before moving to Indiana, he practiced in upstate New York. For the past eight years, he served as the chief medical officer of a large community mental health center in west central Indiana.

Dr. Mahmood has published articles on neuropsychiatric conditions. His clinical interests include neurocognitive disorder, psychiatric aspects of endocrine conditions, healthcare policy and optimization of healthcare costs and outcomes. Dr. Mahmood is board certified in Psychiatry, Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Neurology and Addiction Medicine.
